In 2003 german guitarist Andy Arnold formed his own Trio that lasted for about 3 years, played several tours throughout Europe and released an album in 2005. Now with a new rhythm section and a new program Arnold continues musically on the same road while adding some new influences. This current line-up is based in Amsterdam and it features Norwegian Magnus Skovdal on electric bass and young Philippe Lemm from Holland on drums. This trio plays hard-hitting fusion with a taste of funk and blues. Contrary to most music of this genre these players leave enough space for what might be the essence of jazz: improvisation and interaction.
